Dynamics 365 release plan for the 2023 release wave 1
The first wave of the 2023 release for Dynamics 365 brings new innovations that give you important capabilities to transform your business.
The release contains hundreds of new features across Dynamics 365 applications, including Business Central, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance and Operations.
Some of the key features of the first wave of the 2023 release include :
Dynamics 365 Business Central will continue to develop enhanced financial capabilities for cross-company transactions, as well as several enhancements to the warehouse management area to make customer processes more efficient. More default configuration data will also be provided in this wave to speed up customer onboarding processes.
In Sales, collaboration will be improved, including real-time co-creation and the ability to collaborate on quotes and proposals with colleagues.
New capabilities such as new templates, an enhanced email designer and the ability to send dynamic content based on customer preferences will be available in Marketing.
In Dynamics 365 Customer Service, the user interface will be enhanced and new customer service analytics will be available to make the job even easier.
Field service capabilities will be expanded in "Field Service", including the ability to manage work orders for mobile devices and improved resource planning.
For Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, enhanced expense management and cash forecasting capabilities are planned.
