General Pricing

What is the difference between Cloud and On-Premise deployment?

Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure with automatic updates, browser access from anywhere, and 99.9% uptime SLA. On-premise runs on your own servers, giving you full data control and manual update scheduling. Pricing is the same for both deployments.

Can I switch packages later?

Yes. Upgrade from Accounting Only to All-in-One at any time. Downgrade with 30 days notice. Your data is always preserved during package changes.

Are there setup or implementation fees?

Basic setup is included in your monthly subscription. Complex implementations (data migration, custom workflows, integrations) are scoped and quoted separately. A typical implementation takes 2–4 weeks.

What is included in the per-user price?

Full module access, training and onboarding, support during Luxembourg business hours, all platform updates, mobile access, and PCN/eCDF/FAIA compliance updates.

Are there annual discounts?

Yes. Annual prepayment earns a 10% discount. Multi-year commitments (2+ years) provide a 15% discount.

What support is included?

Email support (24-hour response), knowledge base, and phone support 9am–6pm CET. Premium support with faster SLAs is available as an add-on.

Licensing & Usage Rights

What Business Central license types exist?

Essentials (core ERP), Premium (adds manufacturing and service management), Team Member (limited access), External Accountant (free for accounting firms), and Microsoft 365 Access (read-only in Teams). Fisqal packages map to these license types.

Can I reassign licenses between users?

Yes, with Microsoft's 90-day rule: short-term reassignment only for temporary absence or device sharing. Permanent reassignment is allowed at any time — block the former user and reassign.

Can I access Business Central with just a Microsoft 365 license?

You can read Business Central data in Microsoft Teams with a Microsoft 365 license, but your organization must have at least one Business Central Premium or Essentials license.

What are user groups vs security groups?

User Groups are deprecated in Business Central v25+. Use Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) security groups combined with composable permission sets for access control.

Payment & Billing

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer, SEPA direct debit, and invoice. Invoice terms are NET 30 and may require financial qualification.

What happens if a payment fails?

You receive a notification and have 15 days to resolve the payment. After 15 days, the subscription may be suspended. Late fees are up to 2% per month on overdue amounts.

Are prices inclusive of tax?

Prices are exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise. Luxembourg standard VAT applies. Customers are responsible for applicable taxes in their jurisdiction.

Implementation & Support

How long does implementation take?

Basic setup: 1–5 days (included in subscription). Standard implementation: 2–4 weeks. Complex projects with migration, integrations, and custom workflows: 1–3 months.

What training is provided?

Online training portal, documentation, webinars, and email/chat support are included. Instructor-led training is available as an add-on at €500/day.

How are Business Central updates handled?

Cloud: Microsoft releases 2 major updates per year (April and October), applied automatically. On-premise: you schedule updates at your convenience. All updates are included in your subscription.

Can you migrate data from my current system?

Yes. We provide guided migration from Bob50, Demasy, Sage, Odoo, SAP Business One, QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel. Migration is scoped per project and quoted based on data volume and complexity.

Compliance & Data Protection

Does Fisqal® meet Luxembourg regulations?

Yes. Fisqal® includes CTIE-approved compliance covering PCN (Plan Comptable Normalisé), eCDF electronic filing, FAIA audit file, VAT declarations, and Intrastat reporting. All compliance updates are automatic.

How is my data protected?

Microsoft's Data Processing Agreement covers GDPR compliance, encryption at rest and in transit, EU data residency, data ownership, and full export/delete capabilities. Your data is never used for advertising.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You have 90 days to export your data in standard formats after cancellation. Production data is deleted after 90 days. Backups may be retained for up to 180 days per Microsoft's retention policy.

Account Management

How do I cancel my subscription?

Submit a written cancellation request with 60 days notice. Export your data during this period. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I add or remove users?

Add users at any time — billing is prorated. Removed users remain active until the current billing period ends, then drop at renewal. Licenses can be reassigned.

Can I work with a different partner?

Yes. As a Microsoft CSP partner, SK Consulting manages your subscription. You can change partners at any time while maintaining your data and configuration.
