An update mode per package
Choose how each package behaves: one-time data at setup, mandatory data only, all data, or none at all. Change your mind per package, per company, at any time.
Review before it applies
Compare what is in your database against the incoming version field by field, then apply only the changes you accept. Anything you reject stays as it is today.
Lock the tables you own
Mark tables you maintain yourself as locked and no package will ever write to them — useful when one company has deliberately gone its own way.
A trail your auditor can follow
Every version, and every accepted or rejected change, is timestamped in version history and the decision log. One view shows which company runs which version.

Data packages are available for Luxembourg today, with Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Malta in preview. Package descriptions are delivered in the language of the company.

What is Managed Data Service?
It is an AppSource app that subscribes your Business Central environment to setup data we maintain centrally. Chart of accounts, VAT posting, payment methods, postcodes, Intrastat codes and more are installed at setup, then kept current. You choose which areas to subscribe to and approve each update.
Is Managed Data Service the same as Go-Live in 2 Weeks?
No. Managed Data Service is the app — a subscription to maintained setup data that continues indefinitely. Go-Live in 2 Weeks is our finance-only implementation service, which uses the app to get you live quickly. You can buy the app without the service, or the service without staying subscribed.
Will it overwrite configuration we have already done?
Not without your approval. You pick an update mode per package, compare your data against the incoming version, and apply only the changes you accept. Tables you maintain yourself can be locked so no package can write to them.
Which Business Central areas does it cover?
Six areas: accounting and general ledger; financial reporting; VAT and Luxembourg tax reporting; payments, banking and currencies; sales, purchasing and master data; and other areas including Intrastat, fixed assets, report layouts, Office and warehouse. You subscribe per area.
Does it keep the Luxembourg PCN 2020 chart of accounts up to date?
Yes. Fisqal Localization for Luxembourg delivers the PCN 2020 at installation, and the Managed Data Service subscription keeps it current — when CTIE publishes changes for a new fiscal year, the updated chart reaches your environment. The eCDF validation rules are updated in parallel.
Does it work across several companies?
Yes, and that is where most of the value sits. Each company subscribes to the packages it needs, and a multi-company view shows which company is running which package version — so you can spot an entity that has fallen behind before it matters.
Which countries are supported?
Luxembourg data packages are generally available. Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Malta are in preview. If you need another country, talk to us — packages are built centrally, so coverage grows with demand.

Yes. Managed Data Service is on Microsoft AppSource with a free trial, and supports both the Essential and Premium editions of Business Central. Install it in a sandbox, subscribe to one area, and see exactly what arrives before you commit.
